Apolline had her engagement ring set in front of her, in the middle of the table. A bottle of wine just off to the side and half of it gone already by the time Margaux would be getting home. That's not counting the other still on the kitchen counter that's already emptied.

The Cafe Musain was busy and bustling, something that came to no surprise to the Hostess of the party. Regardless, she had taken the liberty of buying out some of the space in the far corner of the shop for the night. The spot they usually enjoyed, with some extra space. No personal decoration was required, as the Cafe was already beautifully decorated, and it was only the addition of several sprigs of mistletoe that she anticipated bringing.
Apolline was already sitting at one of the tables, enjoying her glass of spiked egg nog and making sure everything was starting off as planned.
